How do I get my teen to MCYC?
Because our groups are travelling from different places, your Youth Group Leader will tell you where and what time to meet for both the Saturday and the Tuesday.
My child is planning on camping. What gear do they need to bring?
As much as they’d like, the bare minimum is a single-person covering, i.e., a swag or 1-man tent, plus a sleeping bag, pillow, and floor covering. A more extensive list of what to bring for the best time at camp will have been sent to you after rego-ing, so please check your inbox.​ Please note, there is a shower/toilet block available for use by those camping.
Who do I contact in an emergency?
Your first point of contact is your Church's primary Youth Team Leader. If they are unavailable then the Scott's Head Christian Youth Centre has an office number: 65698253
Who are the Leaders?
Each Youth Group will have their own Leaders attending the Conference. All Leader's have NSW Safe Ministry Checks and are already serving each week at your church.
Is my teen allowed to bring their phone?
Yes. However, we do encourage them to minimise any use and 'be in the moment' while at the Conference. Some Youth Groups may decide to limit phone use in cabins/tents.
